A comment from a Danish person: in "Center for Stress", the word "for" has the same meaning as in "a place for working with stress as a phenomenon". Not "for" as the opposite of "against"...

Then (even) another angle on this post's subject: taking courses in stress management just puts even more "brain dominance" in there - and that unfortunately often happens in situations where you actually need to get rid of the rational angle and reinstall the "full view" on things.

And thanks for the refreshing angle on the subject :o)

if you go somewhere else and relax you'll forget your problems that causes the stress but when the time you return to your workplace or to your work which causes this stress, they'll all be back and maybe because you spend sometime just sitting and relaxing yourself, your problems will be doubled or trippled if your work is time consuming. how can u be happy and relaxed if problems are pushing you down even your teamates and family are not there to help you even in a small home task huh? you know what i feel right now? i hate the world! fuc!

[...] The main point of my presentation was of course that we can’t be focusing on fighting stress. That only makes people more stressed. We need to focus on promoting happiness at work - when people are happy at work, they’re not stressed. I also talked about some myths about stress. [...]

I think it's important to talk about stress, but not focus on it.focus on what's good in your life, and at work.if it's nothing- make changes!!!
your thoughts become your life, choose the good ones !
