Malcolm has a point. Jobs is categorised as an asshole several times in the 'No Assholes Rule' you reviewed on the 13th Feb. The are some interesting issues here. Jobs may be very happy with his work but is giving many of his people a hard time in the process. ..but reading between the lines of the quotes of Apple employees that sutton uses, it seems that they get som sort of masochistic pleasure out of the experience. I've often come across people that only appear to be happy if thay have something/someone to complain about. Have you come across this sort of 'happiness' in your research.

Something interesting that i've found is that usually the higher up you go in a company (Founder, CEO) the nicer the people are.
