Know any happy leaders or workplaces in South Africa?

Flag_of_South_AfricaI’ve been booked to do a number of speeches about happiness at work in South Africa in March. I’ll be in Johannesburg from March 3-6 and Cape Town from March 6-9.

I’m currently working on a book of interviews with the world’s happiest leaders. These can be in business, arts, sports, politics, academia, etc.

Do you know of any South African leaders or workplaces who are obviously committed to creating happiness?

We are 100% committed to happiness at work. Its even a deciding factor when we talk to a potential client.

Try to contact the following types of organisation/people:
    1. Sports men and women who have set up their own foundations to help disadvantaged people e.g. JAG Foundation – Elana Meyer (former SA athlete – http://jagfoundation.org.za/); LumoHawk Foundation – Joel Stransky (former Springbok rugby player – https://www.facebook.com/LumoHawkFoundation)
    2. Motivational speakers like Gavin Sharples (http://www.gavinsharples.co.za/index.htm?page.htm&3)
    3. Adventurer and team coach – Mike Horn (http://www.mikehorn.com)
    4. Business forums such as the Cape Town Partnership (http://www.capetownpartnership.co.za/business/businessareasnetwork); Johannesburg Business and Tourism Forum (http://www.sojo.co.za/members.aspx); SEDA (Small Enterprise Development Authority) in George – there are many of these types of business forums which could be a good springboard to get more information from.
    5. Radio stations such as KFM, Highveld Stereo, Radio 5
