Satisfaction suggests its okay. it somehow seems less emotional and more objective while happiness is an emotion that is contagious affecting everyone around you raising the happiness and engagement barometer.
It also triggers the release of dopamine and oxytocin resulting in greater creativity, new ideas, strategy, cognitive ability and collaboration and teamwork. I can’t see satisfaction doing the same.

I agree in that how we feel about our jobs, home life, what we have, anything really determines our happiness. It’s the feeling we have inside us that determine whether we’re happy or not. We all have happiness inside us, we just need to remember it’s there regardless of what we are doing.
