    I agree that there is a difference between happiness and motivation. The happier an employee is, the more motivated they are do the work. if someone is not happy, the can always motivate themselves to complete the work although it may not be the best that they could have done. With increased happiness in an employee will come increased motivation to get the job done to the best of their ability!
