Bad career advice often disguises itself as wisdom, leading many astray. For instance, taking a job you dont want simply to get your foot in the door can trap you in a cycle of dissatisfaction and frequent changes, damaging your reputation. Similarly, letting ability dictate your career without considering personal interests can leave you feeling unfulfilled.

Chasing the highest salary might seem practical but often leads to burnout and unhappiness. Staying in a secure but stagnant role may feel safe but hinders growth. Lastly, obsessing over your limitations instead of your potential can stifle opportunities. Evaluate advice critically.
