La-la-la-la – we’re not listening – la-la-la-la

A Danish study published today shows that

  1. 56% of respondents believe that involving the organization is the second-most important factor for successful strategic development
  2. Only 4% of businesses involve all employees in strategic development

Which made me think of this sign found in a barracks of the Israeli army:

Privates will refrain from giving advice to officers.

  1. Alex, I’m currently rereading the Cluetrain Manifesto and reflecting on what is and what could be. Your posting reminds me that we have a long ways to go yet.

Thanks for the posting – always encouraging and helpful to read your thoughts and share in the conversation.

  2. We’re getting there!

And speaking of the Cluetrain Manifesto: I just learned that on May 31 there will be an event in Copenhagen called conversations, and Doc Searls (one of the Cluetrain authors) will be there. More info at .
