So very true. Most organizations should realize that happiness and results go hand in hand. Keeping the employees happy and motivated is the best way to achieve results. Going any other way such as carrot and stick, fear, rules, and authority is never the best way.
The research that was used to power this was fantastic. Authoritative bosses or leaders never reach the company employees. Having a fun, happy workplace (within reason) is a vital in order to strengthen the workplace. When a company is working on all cylinders that means the company is thriving. Most of the time, this occurs because the employees are happy to go into work everyday!
