We have now spoken in 25 countries. WOOHOOOOOO :o)

Not my regular audience :o)

I just got back from a trip to Kuwait where I did 3 workshops about happiness at work for Kuwait Finance House. I had a great time and while the culture is very different from the companies I normally visit, the participants really enjoyed the workshops and appreciated the importance of creating a happy workplace.

This brings the total number of countries we’ve worked in up to 25 and that’s a major, major milestone for us.

Here’s the whole list:
Bahamas
Croatia
Curaçao
Denmark
Dominican Republic
England
Estonia
France
Germany
Greenland
Guatemala
Holland
Iceland
India
Ireland
Kuwait
Norway
Poland
Portugal
Slovakia
Slovenia
Sweden
Switzerland
Turkey
USA

Next week I get to bring it up to 26, when I speak in the Czech Republic for the first time.

Is your country not on the list? That’s easily solved – book us to speak. We’re awesome!

  1. Hi Alex,

Do you have any tracking of the change of behavior or results when you visit companies like this one? Obviously when you speak at conferences that is not possible, but perhaps company clients sent you feedback a year later? Measured change for the better in lower attrition or better bottom line are the best arguments for more companies to take this very seriously.

    Have a great week,
    Charlotte

  2. That’s a great question, Charlotte. We often measure happiness at work using a survey before and after our speeches/workshops and usually see a marked improvement.

It’s rare that we get to compare “harder” measures like employee turnover, productivity or absenteeism before and after but with the few clients where we’ve had that chance, we also see improvement.
