Call centers are notoriously tough workplaces.
But City Call Center in Copenhagen is different. Very different. They were recently named one of Denmark’s best workplaces in the Great Place to Work Survey and people love working here.
In this interview, their founder and CEO Pouline Mangaard explains how she has created the (nearly) impossible: A happy call center.
†Her ideas are simple, effective and are relevant in any kind of workplace.

Congratulations to Pouline.!!
What strikes one is that it is not that hard to create a happy workplace. It really starts with intent and then reading Alex’s books and blogs will get you up and running in no time at all. The best part of it is that you should see immediate results with very little outlay.
Thank you, Fraser.
You’re right. It really isn’t rocket science.
But management got to appreciate and prioritize the happiness at work. ?
Have a great day.
